Firm History

Bassett Law Firm LLP was founded in Fayetteville , Arkansas in 1981 by W.W. “Bill” Bassett, Jr. and his two sons, Woody Bassett and Tod Bassett. The firm soon more than doubled in size to accommodate its growing client base, and in 1986 it was moved to the historic Rieff House at 221 North College Avenue, located directly across from the Washington County Courthouse in Fayetteville.

By 1993, the law firm had more than doubled in size again. That year the firm expanded its building and operations to better serve its clients.

Bassett Law Firm LLP continues to grow with the region. The firm celebrated its twenty-fifth year in business, as well as its twentieth year at its present location, in 2006.
