Community Involvement

The attorneys at Bassett Law Firm LLP consider service to the people of Fayetteville and the surrounding region to be vital to their legal practice and to their role as active members of their community. The firm is a leader in civic affairs.

Bassett Law Firm LLP is a member of the local Chamber of Commerce. Members of the firm serve on various corporate, community and service organization boards, and have also served in elected and appointed positions for local municipal government. Several members of the firm have also served in elected positions in the Washington County and Arkansas Bar Associations, and have been recognized and honored for their outstanding service to those organizations.

Bassett Law Firm LLP annually sponsors the Trial Advocacy scholarship prize to a student selected by the faculty at the University of Arkansas School of Law. In 2004, the firm was also proud to announce its gift of $100,000 to the law school, and the naming of the W.W. Bassett, Jr. Classroom.
